Using the advanced Vbeam laser we can selectively target redness, flushing, vascular lesions, blood vessels and telangiectasia associated with rosacea and sun damage. We can also hasten the resolution of bruising from non-invasive cosmetic procedures, surgery or trauma. The Vbeam laser's patented cryogen cooling system delivers a cooling mist prior to each laser pulse to enhance patient comfort and protect the skin. In addition because of its variable pulse duration, the Vbeam laser can be used to treat a range of vascular conditions with no downtime.

Acne is a common skin condition characterized by clogged pores and inflamed pimples and cysts that can sometimes lead to scarring. There are many topical and oral treatment options available to control breakouts and minimize the risk of scarring. Laser treatments with the Vbeam and Fraxel lasers are highly effective for improving persistent redness and scarring resulting from acne.

Raised or depressed red scars often develop as a result of acne, traumatic injury, cosmetic or other surgical procedures. The Fraxel and Vbeam lasers can be used alone or in combination to improve the appearance of atrophic, depressed scars or elevated red scars.

The advanced dual wavelength MedLite laser system utilizes photoacoustic technology to deliver nanosecond pulses of laser energy to selectively target and remove epidermal and dermal pigmented lesions, brown spots, sun spots, freckles, blotchy pigmentation. The Fraxel laser treatment lessens blotchy pigmentation by eliminating microscopic columns of irregular pigmentation. A series of treatments is recommended to maximize clearing of uneven skin pigmentation.

The Fraxel laser is used to rejuvenate the skin by delivering microscopic columns of laser energy, stimulating collagen production. Since only a portion of the skin is treated during each session, a series of treatments is required for maximal benefit. Patients can usually return to normal activities with minimal downtime. Moreover, because of ongoing collagen stimulation, the initial benefits continue to accrue gradually over several months. In addition to the face, the Fraxel laser can be used to rejuvenate the neck, chest and hands.

While not all tattoo pigments can be improved or eliminated with laser therapy, lasers are highly effective at removing many unwanted tattoos. Lasers with a variety of different wavelengths are needed to remove a wide range of tattoo pigments. The MedLite dual wavelength laser delivers very short, high intensity pulses that selectively destroy black, blue and red ink pigments with minimal damage to the uninvolved skin. Multiple treatments are needed for maximal clearing.

Stretch marks can develop due to genetics, rapid stretching of the skin and hormonal factors. Stretch marks frequently develop around puberty and during periods of significant weight gain, especially during the last trimester of pregnancy. While there is no treatment that reliably prevents or completely eradicate stretch marks, the Vbeam and Fraxel lasers can improve the appearance of these unsightly marks. The Vbeam laser can diminish redness and stimulate collagen production, improving the appearance of early red stretch marks. Fractional laser resurfacing creates microscopic injuries that stimulate collagen production, improving the texture and appearance of red and mature white stretch marks.

Photodynamic therapy is an exciting therapy that combines a photosensitizing drug with an activating light source to safely and effectively lessen precancerous skin lesions and improve the appearance of sun damaged skin. Photodynamic therapy can also be used in combination with the Vbeam Laser to improve persistent acne.
